Tabs Mix PlusI sometimes feel like Mozilla should have have added tabs to Firefox because it can become a tease. I will open a bunch of tabs, and Firefox will start taking up ten times more memory than any other program running. Every once and a while, Firefox will decide that I should not be able to scroll through my tabs, and eventually it either crashes, or I have to kill it to regain control over my computer.

But all those tabs I had open, they are gone. Well, not if you install Tab Mix Plus, which has a built-in session manager with crash recovery. Not only will it ask you if you want to open the tabs you had open, but all the windows as well. So if you had two windows with ten tabs in each, they would all load back up. If it crashes again, you can tell it not to reload them all, or reload the last working sessions tabs and windows. A very useful extension for Firefox.

From Firefox Addons:

Tab Mix Plus enhances Firefox’s tab browsing capabilities. It includes such features as duplicating tabs, controlling tab focus, tab clicking options, undo closed tabs and windows, plus much more. It also includes a full-featured session manager with crash recovery that can save and restore combinations of opened tabs and windows.

I highly suggest anyone working on multiple things, needing more than a handful of tabs, add this extension to their Firefox install, as it will save many grey hairs in trying to remember what sites you had open.

Grab it at the Firefox Addons website.
