If there’s nothing new in a relationship, you might end up boring each other. Marriages often hit some “down” times but it’s up to you to rekindle the passion that you shared just like during your honeymoon. When I mean surprise, it’s not in a negative way. Like having her walk into you and your cheating ass. The following are a few ideas on how to surprise the missus once in a while to keep the flame burning.

1. Sneak up to her and kiss the back of her neck.
2. Send her flowers at the office or at home while you’re at work.
3. Compliment her cooking. Just don’t be sarcastic.
4. Get home before she arrives and prepare a candle-lit dinner.
5. If you have nothing planned out one weekend, take her out shopping. She’d be surprised especially if she knows you dread being a shopping aide.
6. Write a love note and post it on the fridge door. Make sure she gets to read it first thing in the morning.
7. Write her a poem/song, record it, and sneak it into her iPod.
8. Give her a sensual massage. Pamper her like a goddess.
9. Show up at her office unannounced and take her out to lunch.
10. Keep a secret scrapbook of the things you’ve done together and give it to her as a gift.
