
In the midst of writing your progress report or cooking family dinner, your mind wanders off to other things not necessarily significant. Before you know it, you spent at least ten minutes doing something other than what you were supposed to be doing. Don’t fret, you don’t have a short attention span, you’re just really bored with what you’re doing. In fact, we’ll tolerate this and suggest more than one ways on how you can waste ten minutes of your time!
Go online and answer a fun survey. The internet has an enormous collection of surveys. One fun survey will only take a few minutes to answer and a few seconds to generate the result.
Binge. You might feel the urge to munch on something even though you’re not hungry. Get super-fast tummy solution with a chocolate bar, a pizza slice, or a healthy yogurt.
Read the newspaper’s funny pages. Assorted humor all in one page. Guaranteed to bring a laugh or two.
iPod time. Ten minutes is enough time for two songs (or three!). Get your iPod and chill for ten minutes. Yes, this means you can play your favorite song two times.
Daydream. It’s not good to dwell on dreams, but daydreaming could be reasonable if it’s limited to a maximum of ten minutes. Everyone needs happy thoughts after all.
