Indulging into some form of vanity can help you get some stress out of your system. There are a lot of treatments out there that you might want to try, even just for once and the good thing is, you can even do these on your own. Female friends swear by the boost in mood whenever they treat themselves to these. Here are some treatments that you can indulge in.
Heated Eyelash Curler. Use a heated eyelash curler to make pretty curls out of your stubbornly straight lashes. This takes longer than the regular curler but is more long-lasting. Look for a good product which doesn’t get too hot so it won’t hurt your eyes. You’d have to hold the gadget against your lashes for a really long time for them to really curl up and stay curly all day.
Airbrush Tan. A home spray-tanning system will do the trick. A do-it-yourself airbrush tan is designed to give you a semi-professional tan treatment and it can transform you into a beach babe in about 20 minutes. This fake tan can last for a few days.
Ceramic-Coated Aluminum Rollers. Use these on a damp hair and heat with a blowdryer. Let it cool to achieve fabulous curls that lasts longer than what you get from regular rollers. This is good for limp hair which could use more volume and form.
Texturized Brow Enhancer. If your brows are short and you’d love it to be fuller and longer for a more feminine look, try an eyebrow extender that can define your eyebrows. Brow enhancers are easy to apply but it takes about five minutes for the product to completely dry. Use a texturized brow enhancer to get thicker brows that looks natural and is easy to wash off.
Nail Whitener. Try a nail-whitening soak. This nail whitener is an effervescent powder. All you have to do is pour it into warm water and soak your nails in for about seven minutes to get instant clean fingertips. Yellowish fingernails are plain nasty. Heavily-stained nails may take more than one treatment to achieve a clean wash. But the whole process is not painful and it doesn’t dry out your hands.
