Bathroom

Recent developments and innovations in vanity have made the experience of bathing positively luxurious. But even if you have expensive shower gels and scented candles around the tub, a dirty bathroom is just plain icky. People would rather clean any part of the house than scrub the bathroom floor. But scouring is unnecessary if you regularly wipe the mess.

Tub and walls. Spray the tub and walls with the shower spray after you take your bath. Avoid having mildew grow on your bathroom corners by wiping the walls with a dry washcloth after you have finished your bath. Mildew grows in wet areas so make sure to leave them dry. Remove soap scum by squirting a dishwashing detergent then rinse with warm water.

Curtain. The disposable curtain line is disposable. Throw it away and buy a new one when it becomes too dirty and mildewy.

Sink. Rinse off your mess on the sink right after you use it and wipe it dry with a paper towel. Don’t leave the soap on the sink but use a soap tray instead. You can use vinegar to clean your faucet.

Drain problems. Pour down half a cup of baking soda and a cup of white vinegar then let it fizz. Rinse with hot water.

Toilet bowl. Forget in-tank cleaners. They don’t really provide the cleaning that should be done to your throne. So get in-bowl cleaners instead. Apply, let it sit and scrub.

Mirror.  The bathroom mirror tends to get neglected when it’s cleaning time. But getting it shiny and defogged helps the overall look of your bathroom. Try this homemade mirror cleaning solution.

Bin. Oh and be sure to empty that waste bin and line it with a new garbage bag.
