Resume

A couple of days ago, I wrote an article on How to Apply for a Job. I placed the resume as one of the important things one should prepare for. Your resume increases your chances of landing an assessment or interview – a step in landing your dream job.

Personally, I’m more keen on making my resume personalized. And I do put in effort to design it well. Not only does it give a lot more oomph to my resume, it makes for a better impression too. Companies love to hire people who put in something extra to their work.

However, if you’re not too well-versed in design or desktop publication, you might be better off using templates. Props to Microsoft for making some great templates. They’re clean and concise.
