Bloggers on Blogger rejoice! Here’s one thing that can help you with your backup woes. If you’ve been happily blogging for quite sometime, you may have amassed so much material that you probably want to keep offline copies (you know, just in case something goes horribly wrong with Google).

In any case, Blogger Backup, is an open-source utility that lets you export your Blogger blog and save the darned thing locally to your PC. It works pretty straight up. Enter your account details, select a blog, and choose how many entries you’d like to be exported. It exports using Atom.

It even has am incremental backup feature where you can just choose to export the latest entries from your last backup. What even makes it a lot nicer is that it can extract comments from each post. An image download feature may be included in future versions.
