A while back, I featured a couple of password managers. AI Roboform’s a great idea but having a limited “lite” version kind of turned me off. Access Manager’s done it quite well for me. Not until I’ve tried out KeyPass.
It’s a pretty robust and secure password manager that even allows multiple user keys. It’s got a portable version that can be run through a thumb drive, no installation required. It allows export to TXT, HTML, XML, and CSV. Plus it has a secure Windows clipboard feature so you can just copy and paste without worries. If you’re tired of thinking of strong passwords, it’s got an option to generate a really strong one for you. It’s even got an array of plug-ins for integration.
Best of all, it’s free. And it’s got versions for Linux and Mac too. Nice.
