ResoSo probably not everyone will be needing this functionality but for power users, testers, and designers, this may yet be a must-have for them. There are times when you just have to change your display resolution whether it’s to try something out in a different resolution than your default. For those who have done so, you might have needed to manually switch your display settings over and over again.

Not anymore with Reso.

Reso allows you to set the resolution, color mode and refresh rate for a particular application to be run in. A word of warning though, be sure that you’re aware of the resolutions, color modes, and refresh rates that both your monitor and video card can run in. It can even create shortcuts for your applications to run automatically in a preset resolution. The default resolution is restored automatically after you’ve exited the program.

Perhaps the best feature (as others have tested) of Reso is that the desktop icons remain intact. Usually they get messed up whenever you change to a lower resolution. Reso is just 9KB small.
