Sleep

Dozing off can stave off being really cranky and tired. Getting a good amount of sleep can help you be recharged and feel just a bit more comfortable amidst the stress of the daily grind. So if you plan to kick ass and kick some more during your nine-to-five stint, better get your decent amount of Zs. Here are a few more tips on finding some comfort in sleep.

Get enough sleep. One major sign that you are near exhaustion are the bags under our eyes. When you lack sleep, you feel dizzy and weak and this can’t happen when you’re expected to be at your best at school or in the office. The best remedy for this is to adopt a regular sleeping habit. Sleep early and satisfy your need for rest until your body feels totally refreshed again. A 7-8 hours of sleep is best when you sleep early, instead of starting sleep at 2 in the morning, and waking up 7 hours after. Sleep early so you can wake up early.

Prepare your room. Some people can sleep regardless of the state of the room. But a clean, cozy, dimly-lit room is really the best to lull oneself to sleep. Although watching TV in one’s room sometimes becomes a reason for being up all night, if you watch the right shows, you can doze off in an instant. Most people actually fall asleep while watching TV.

Socks to warm your feet. Can you imagine yourself curled up in a soft couch, sipping a mug of hot chocolate by the fire, and just having happy thoughts? The next thing you know is that you’re off to bed. Warm feet on a cold weather brings about a very comfortable feeling enough to make you sleepy.
