Mozilla just released the latest incarnation of Firefox 2 with 2.0.0.4. The release notes emphasize on these important updates:
- Security Update: The following security issues have been fixed.
- Windows Vista Support: More enhancements and fixes for Windows Vista are included, with the following caveats.
- New Languages: Afrikaans (af) and Belarusian (be) are now available. Beta releases for several new languages are also available for testing.
The security issues fixed in this release include:
- XUL Popup Spoofing
- XSS using addEventListener
- Path Abuse in Cookies
- Persistent Autocomplete Denial of Service
- Crashes with evidence of memory corruption (rv:1.8.0.12/1.8.1.4)
