Yesterday I posted a quick tip on using MeeTimer, an add-on that counts time online spent on productivity (or otherwise). Now for just a bit more on productivity control, here’s an extension that you might consider installing together with MeeTime.
LeechBlock is a Firefox extension that lets you block time leeching websites like you-know-what. What’s better is that you can also set a custom time and date ranges when these sites would be blocked. It helps you focus on the work at hand during work hours. It can accommodate up to four sets of websites to block.
Now, a nifty feature that it has is a password feature to at least buy you a few seconds to try to purge the urge to waste time.
Together with MeeTimer, this could just be my choice of online-time management add-on combo for Firefox.
Download LeechBlock here.
