ASCII art has been around for a long, long time. And generators have been around too. And here’s one of them - Photo2Text. It’s an online conversion site that lets you upload an image and download a TXT of the generated ASCII art.

I could’ve featured this as a web raid. But since it’s got a Firefox extension, why not put it in as a tip. It’s quickly accessible via the right-click menu instead of opening up the site and uploading the image manually.

The add-on puts a “Download this image as text” option in your right-click menu. When clicked it opens up Photo2Text’s download page. Just download the TXT file and revel in the magic of ASCII art.
