Firefox Quick Tip: Copy Text as Plain Text
This seems pretty straightforward but sometimes, it’s that straightforward functionality that you need. By default, Firefox does rich text copying, meaning that when you copy text from the browser, you also copy the text formatting. This can be pretty useful when copy a text from a page to a word processor like Word.
However, for those who don’t need this function, here’s an add-on for you – Copy Plain Text. As plain as what it’s called, this extension lets you copy text as plain text. Nothing more, nothing less. It strips all formatting and transfers plain text information to your clipboard for pasting on your blog engine’s editing area or on your document.
