Fuller Screen

A few days ago, I pointed out that one problem with having too many add-ons and toolbars is space. They really tend to cramp your whole browsing space. One alternative I pointed out is to shrink your menu bar. It gives you some added breathing room to view more of the website you’re visiting. But how about this - view web pages in full screen.

You just got to love Firefox add-ons. Here’s an add-on that lets you view Firefox in full screen - Fuller Screen. Yup. No pesky toolbars (not even a Windows taskbar) and whatnot to block your viewing pleasure. Just the page and scroll bars.

Installing the add-on will put an icon in your status bar. Clicking it will switch you to full screen. But what if you need your toolbars? A quick nudge of your mouse to the top and bottom parts of your screen will make them appear in an instant so don’t you worry. Plus, you can customize the settings in the add-ons option menu.
