One of the tabs I usually keep open is my Google Personalized Homepage. For me, it’s like a car’s dashboard that’s too essential to just do away with. I lovingly customized to suit mine to suite my needs. One thing that I find a bit off though is the fact that I have to continuously switch to that tab. Here’s an add-on that lets you view your Google Homepage - IGoogle Sidebar.

It’s a simple add-on that displays your Google Homepage in the sidebar. Simple as that. It can be accessed via the GUI or by a simple keystroke shortcut.

Some downsides though. Well, it does take away some browsing space so it benefits those with larger displays with higher resolutions. And it only displays the left column of your homepage so you might need to drag everything to that column for everything to be visible.
