Page Title EraserTired of nosy people looking over your shoulder to see what the heck you’re surfing. Well, if you only have Google or some other productive site on your browser, then no problem. Still, you might want to get a bit of privacy and the page title immediately gives you away.

Page Title Eraser is a Firefox extension that does just what you need for a little privacy - hide the title and the favicons of the page that you’re browsing. It adds a menu item in the context menu that allows you to hide the title. For a quick fix, a button and keyboard shortcut can also be used. What’s great about this is that tabs can have independent instances.

The latest version allows hiding for all tabs that are open and even set a custom title that can be displayed in lieu of the hidden title. Another nifty add-on.
