Now being a self-professed keyboard ninja, I’ve been a bit biased on featuring shortcuts. Sorry. My bad. So let me make it up to you with this summary of mouse shortcuts for Firefox for mouse ninjitsu practitioners.
These include navigation and display shortcuts that you execute with a some keyboard modifiers. Yes, it involves a bit of keyboarding but it sure beats moving your hands too much to click those buttons.
- Text Size Decrease - Ctrl + Scroll UP
- Text Size Increase - Ctrl + Scroll Down
- Back - Shift + Scroll Down
- Forward - Shift + Scroll Up
- Open Link in Background Tab - Ctrl + Left Click or Middle Click
- Open Link in Foreground Tab - Ctrl + Shift + Left Click
- Open Link in New Window - Shift + Left Click
- Scroll Line by Line - Alt + Scroll
- Tab Close - Middle Click on Tab
- Tab New - Double Click on Tab Bar
