Okay, for those of you who are quite new to Firefox, one of the quickest way to access tabs is to drop the mouse and practice some keyboard ninjitsu. A combination of Ctrl + 1 to 9 allows you to access tabs with the first tab designated as 1 and the last one designated as 9.
In any case, it does take a bit of getting used to cycling through your tabs this way. It could be much faster using the mouse than guessing which number is designated to a particular tab, right? Well you really got to love add-ons, especially this one – Fancy Numbered Tabs. No need for spatial savvy anymore as what this add-on does is it replaces the “X” close tab button with numbers so that you won’t have to do any guess work on which number goes with your Ctrl key.
No need to worry if you rearrange or add or close tabs, the add-on will automatically adjust based on the number of tabs you have open. How’s that for keyboard ninjitsu?
