I was scanning all of the Firefox Quick Tips that I’ve written for the past 5 months and I think I’ve covered a wide range of tweaks and add-ons. But despite all of this, I think I left out one of the most helpful add-ons in Firefox’s arsenal – Greasemonkey. And I’ve been using it for a long while now.
Greasemonkey’s an add-on that lets users to install scripts to create changes on a web page and make it better even by just a bit. It’s uses are almost endless. It can add functionality, fix bugs, aggregate services across web pages, etc…
With it’s popularity the community has already developed a large collection of scripts so you don’t have to know how to write and program scripts to use them.
So starting tomorrow, I’ll be featuring more user scripts aside from the usual tweaks and add-ons for the daily quick tips.
