Don’t worry, it happens even to best of us - you’re surfing and you’ve found a really good site but before you’ve hit Ctrl + D (the bookmarking shortcut), you accidentally press Ctrl + W (close tab shortcut) or some other command that closes the darned tab. Okay, so maybe it’s just me. Nah… I bet there’s a whole lot of us who’ve done so.
In any case, while Firefox’s history may save us yet, how about having the option to just undo our stupid action (oh how we wish we have a real life undo button). And here it is - the Undo Closed Tabs Button add-on.
The add-on, as its name obviously states, allows you to bring back the tab you’ve closed either via a toolbar button, right-click context menu and for keyboard ninjas, via Alt + Z. It can handle up to the last three tabs that you’ve closed. How neat is that?

1Shift-Ctr T also “un-close” the last closed tab. Without extensions. At least on Firefox 3.
