Total Validator

Since today’s Web is gearing toward standardization via Web standards and being a bit more humane with considerations for accessibility. If you’re a web developer/designer then validation is one of your true friends that help you “get things right.”

However, while the W3C website offers a free validation service, it does have certain limitations like type checking. Web service, Total Validator offers a more comprehensive validation service that provides “true validation” of HTML 2.0 to XHTML 1.1 using the official document type declarations.

What’s really nice about it is that it performs WCAG priority checks and Section 508 for accessibility, broken link checking, spell checking in 5 different languages and even takes screenshots. How’s that for a web service? I think it’s a must-visit page for web developers. And to top it off, they offer a Firefox add-on so you can directly validate from any web page.
