Here’s a nice tweak for Google Reader. Most feeds I subscribe to do not always feature complete content. So, in order to read details or the full story, I have to click on links or the feed item’s title to open the web page (in a new Firefox tab). For some this may be a bit too tedious and would think that it’d be a lot more convenient to just have the page open inside Google Reader. By default, sadly, it doesn’t let you do that.
Google Reader Preview Enhanced is a Greasemonkey script that places a Preview link at the bottom of each feed item. Clicking the Preview link opens the original page or article in an iframe within Google Reader. Saving you the trouble of having to view it on a different tab. A nifty tweak if you’re a Google Reader user.
However, one possible drawback to this is, since it opens in an iframe, the page may look cramped (you may have to scroll) if you aren’t using a widescreen or a high resolution display.
