Winter

It’s start of the cold months again. It’s snowing out, and all plans of doing fun things under the sun has been put on hold. Instead of feeling all bummed because you’re trapped inside the house, enjoy this winter season like never before with our winter days/nights tips. Risk of getting cabin fever? Try to make the time a bit more bearable with worthwhile activities.

Make new memories with your family. You should make new memories whenever you can. Winter has all your family members cooped up inside your house. This is a grand moment – the most important people in your life unable to go out on their own itineraries. Spend some time with your kids! Read stories or teach them how to do hand painting. Stop ignoring your grandparents and for once listen to the stories of their youth and make hot chocolate for everyone!

Get lost in a book. Winter is a good time to read your novels. When it’s snowing out, and it’s really cold, get a soft blanket and put on socks to warm your feet while reading. You’ll feel all warm and fuzzy as the romance of your novel enfolds. Or read something cerebral and increase your IQ.

Spruce up your closet. One day is all you need to clear out your closet of summer outfits and fill it up with trench coats, scarves, and other winter clothes. Box up your sundresses until next summer when you’ll need them again.

Get crafty with Christmas decorations. Since you’ll be at home for days, you’ll have time making a Christmas wreath or set up this year’s Christmas tree. And since all your family members are at home, you can ask them to help you out. I’m sure they’d very much like to help, because there’s nothing much to do anyway.

Start an online business. Start a blog. An online store. A web design company. Getting snowed in shouldn’t stop you from making money too. Online business doesn’t really require you to pick up a shovel and clear a path in the snow on your driveway. This is one way where flexing a finger gets you more in return than breaking your back with a shovel and freeze in the cold snow.
