Google Desktop has been reported to have a flaw that no-gooders might exploit. It allows hackers to get into one’s computer, view files, and run unauthorized software. Recently, another attack has been uncovered. It’s called an anti-DNS (Domain Name System) pinning. It lets attackers access data indexed by Google Desktop.
Google Desktop hasn’t released an update for this flaw. So always keep your Google Dekstop updated.
