It’s the day we’ve all been waiting for… April Fool’s Day and Google’s yearly pranks. I’ve been watching out for any changes in the Google’s logo on search. None.

Google TiSP
A few searches here and there and I got one - Google TiSP - a free in-home wireless broadband.

And Google describes it as:

Introducing Google TiSP (BETA), our new FREE in-home wireless broadband service. Sign up today and we’ll send you your TiSP self-installation kit, which includes setup guide, fiber-optic cable, spindle, wireless router and installation CD.

The catch? You install it to your toilet bowl. It comes in three packages - Trickle, The #2, and The Royal Flush. Harhar, Google. And much like your DSL connection which lets you use your phone line freely, TiSP still gives you uninterrupted TP use even when you’re online. Hehehe.

Pretty funny.

Google Paper
But wait, when I popped up my Gmail’s log-in page, there’s another surprise - Google Paper.

It’s a supposedly free hard copy archiving service that would send you printed copies of your e-mails for free. Just click on a “Paper Archive” button in Gmail and then Google will print it out and send it to you by post. Catch? Yeah, just your typical “unobtrusive ads” printed at the back of printed copies. Yey?

Yeah, right.

Oh well, I had a good laugh from those two, and people still seem to be confused whether or not Paper’s the real deal.

My take? Just laugh it off, boys and girls. Laugh it off.
