   Blu Ray will become the dominant platform. The porn biz is actually quite small and thier number crunching is atrocious (about 10 percent of thier advertised revenues). Sony is in control…..I’m sure they are not shaking in thier boots. DO THE MATH

   I appreciate the comment but this is a dated article. I’ve written a few other articles on the topic. You might want to see the “Related Articles” portion.

   I understand that the porn business has become a non-factor unlike the olden Beta vs. VHS days. I also understand that based on sales, Sony’s Blu-ray has pulled ahead.

   are you guys joking porn or the lack of it may not be enough to kill blue ray buy the porn industry drives a lot of industries e.g. the internet was built by the porn industry the security the video etc. was all paid for by porn well see soon enough anyway

   I love re-reading old articles about how people theorized Blu-ray would’ve lost or made a bad move and that it could’ve been a vital action for their success, even though as of revent HD-DVD is dead and Blu-ray triumphant.

   The more serious and Anti-Blu-ray the articles are, the more pathetic they are, not saying this is one of them but damn, people should look around to see how many were Pro-HD-DVD and said Blu-ray is the next Beta-max, It’s sad.

   I think Sony never really told the industry no but no that blu-ray is the clear winner or the format wars I think we will be seeing a lot more adult films on blu-ray real soon.
