Thanks, Matt.

Exercise does help a lot. As for me, I do have another schedule to keep as I teach in a university here. What I try to do is to minimize the number of rides I have to take and walk. While walking isn't the best calorie burning activity, it does help me do some physical activity apart from being hunched over and blogging.

Whilst this is, of course, great news and highly welcomed - I am positive the most important aspect of a more healthy lifestyle is exercise.

The tightest, most salad-filled life is pointless when you spend the day on a couch/chair. I personally work all day (freelancer, so often 16-18 hours a time) at a computer (iMac, of course!). This doesn't leave much opportunity for moving around - at first look.

But now, I bike first thing in the morning. It's currently 04.09am here near London, and in 20 minutes I am off cycling roughly 15 miles for a couple of hours. I have no need to count the calories lost - I am not a statistician, numbers are of no value to me. I judge the effect by mood, and 'loss of bulge'.

I seriously appeal to everyone that getting some exercise, maybe not the same amount as I am currently, first thing in the morning - for at least 15 minutes - will boost your mood, and general 'health feel' no end. In no uncertain or flimsy terms, it will change your days. Completely.

Nice blog by the way - keep it up! Found via Apple Gazette, and equally entertaining read. Thanks!
