I’ve been featuring some homemade cleaner recipes on this blog and I’ve written on quite a few. So here they are again. They’re cheap. They’re safe. And they’re environment-friendly. Plus homemade makes you live out some mad scientist fantasy or just the thought of being your household MacGyver.

Furniture Polish
1 tablespoon of lemon juice or vinegar
1/2 cup vegetable oil

Tub/Toilet Bowl Cleaner
Paste made of cream of tartar and hydrogen peroxide
or
Baking soda
Borax
White vinegar

Glass Cleaner
2/3 water
1/3rubbing alcohol
1 tablespoon of ammonia

All-purpose Cleaner
Baking soda
Water

Rust Stains on Tiles Cleaner
Paste made from borax powder and lemon juice.
