
When washing garments, take the extra time to read the washing instructions on the label. Fabrics have different washing needs. Some can’t take washing forcing you to take a trip to your dry cleaners. In any case, wool is one of those fabrics that demand extra care. And just in case you didn’t bother checking how your wool cap or sweater should be washed, here’s a tip o how to unshrink wool.
- Place the wool item in a sink full of warm water
- Soak for 10 minutes
- Remove the item and squeeze out excess water
- Let dry on a towel
- Carefully stretch and pull the item back to its original shape
