		<description>This is not at all a good way to determine how &quot;done&quot; a steak is.  The firmness of the meat has to do with drying associated with cooking.  You have no idea the internal temperature of a steak by squeezing it with tongs.

If you want to know how &quot;done&quot; your steak is get a meat thermometer, any where from 130f (rare) to 160(well done) is safe for consumption.</description>
