A lot of trash gets left behind in your PC when you uninstall programs. Some of them leave behind shell extensions - those that appear in your right-click menu.

Now if you want your PC to be spic and span and without those irritating right-click menu options that you don’t get to use anyway (just makes the menu too long), here another utility that you can use - ShellExView.

ShellExView lets you monitor all the shell extensions in your system and display details like version number, company, location and file name. Then you can enable/disable them according to your use.

It’s free to use and runs on Windows 98 to XP.
