It is the ability to believe that good lies within us and all around us. If we are not taught this from our care givers at an early age then how can we learn this later in life when we have messed up our lives with believes of.. Not Good Enough, Worthless, Unlovable, Pathetic. Society in today's world does not build ones FAITH, hear the name calling that takes place on TV, at school in your own homes.... How does one rise above this to have faith? I believe that FAITH is a learnt emotion. It is the ability to believe that good lies within us and all around us. I'll give this personal opinionated belief. Even if God didn't exist would you not morally feel that doing the right thing having pure thoughts. Dealing with the constant battles inside that even with out a supreme being we lived and died as good people of the earth. I have faith in God. My mum told me to have faith in myself, that is the first time I heard about self faith. As an aspiring actress I feel sometimes that I keep falling down, but I just keep getting back up. That is what faith in yourself is, just getting back up and keep pushing towards your goal. I pretend to send him an email. I we'll go online send it to myself then I can go back and read what I wrote to god you don't have to tell anybody you do that the people in my religion would think it was pretty strange me sending a letter to god. Pick of somethng very much and imagine you are talking to them. Say anything you would like swear screaming say you are mad I have done these many times. People think that you have to say a certain thing to talk to god you don't spill your heart swear sing do what ever you love. Also realize that singing is another way to talk to god. Find a song you love and sing it to god make a song saying how to feel. God doesn't just hear what we have to say in one way but in many different ways. He is ready to help an listen he is your friend and knows what you are going to say. He is your father in heaven and he loves you. don't be hard on you're self i know that it is hard for me when i am sad or depressed to talk to god I always want to do it on my own.
