So you forgot that 3 PM meeting with the boss? Forgot to buy dog food again? Lights are off because you forgot to pay the bills? Getting older isn’t too kind for one who’s born forgetful. Here are a few things that can help you keep track of things that you often forget.
Closets and the fridge door. What better places for you to be reminded of those little thing than on spaces that you frequent around the house. Put up small whiteboard on closet doors and the fridge door so that you can always write a sweet note to yourself to pay those utility bills. Or better yet, tack them there with good ol’ fridge door magnets.
Post-its. If whiteboards on closet and fridge doors don’t really help, then a barrage of yellow square pieces of paper would help. Tack them everywhere. Your car’s windshield. Your computer monitor. Your pet. Heck. Let’s see you lose track of things with that.
Landing strip. Create an area near your front door where you can drop off everything important. Let it be your landing and takeoff strip. Park your wallet and car keys on that one spot so that you need not fidget about and be a whirling dervish just to find where you’ve placed your car keys again.
Small notebook. If a PDA is way out of your range, then a small notebook and a pen in your back pocket will be very handy.
