Admit it, sometimes you run out of your house without even an eyeliner. It takes so much time for you to make yourself up and when you do, you end up late for your first class. You’ve been going to school with barely a trace of face powder. Or for guys, most of the time, you may not care at all. Even if you wear an electric pink tie with a bright green shirt. Unless you’re born gorgeous then you might have to give time for yourself to look your best everyday!
Wake up at least 1 hour before your bus. Giving yourself at least an hour to prepare for work or school will give you enough time to stretch, shower, dress up, and eat breakfast. It’s not wise to wake up at the last minute then scurry off after a quick shower. If you don’t give yourself enough preparation time, you might forget something on your way out like your toothbrush or homework because you’re barely awake. And how can you live the afternoon if your breath smells like your lunch?
Eat your breakfast. Forget counting your calories when it’s breakfast. You know you’re not going to get fat by eating a good and healthy breakfast. You get fat with your snacks on the side like chips and cookies so eat your 1st meal of the day. You’ll have a healthier glow that will last until your next meal.
Put on makeup. Nothing cakey. Try putting on bronze eyeshadow and pink lipstick. They look good on every skin color so you can’t go wrong. Dab loose face powder that’s mild on your face so you’ll get that fresh look all day.
Wear comfortable clothes. For women, if you’ve been wanting to wear a miniskirt but you’re just going to cover your legs the whole time then forget it. Wear pants if they make you feel more comfortable and more like yourself. Don’t try to look sexy with a skimpy outfit if you’re never going to be comfortable in it. The best way for you to look your best is to wear what makes you feel good even if it’s just a plain white shirt. For men, just don’t go out looking like a dolt.
It’s hard to develop a morning habit where you can give yourself enough time to get ready for your day. A day that didn’t start with a hot cup of coffee or milk might end up as dull as when your day began.
