Looking for a good breakfast meal for the week? You can make a breakfast pizza, cut it up, and re-heat it all week long. It’s much cheaper than buying breakfast every morning, or eating Hot Pockets or Jimmy Dean Frozen sandwiches.
It’s simple to make…here’s how…
To make a breakfast pizza, you will need:
1 lb ground breakfast sausage, your preference of flavor
6 eggs
1 tablespoon milk
1 can pillsbury original crescent rolls
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
preheat oven to 350.
crumble and brown sausage in medium skillet over medium heat.
while sausage is cooking, roll out crescents flat in the bottom of a 13 x 9 inch baking dish.
cover crescent layer with crumbled, browned sausage.
beat eggs and milk in a separate dish adding salt and pepper to taste.
pour eggs over sausage layer.
bake at 350 for 25 minutes.
remove dish from oven. sprinkle cheese over eggs and return to the oven for 5 minutes, or until cheese is melted.
allow to cool for 5-10 minutes before serving.
This dish is very good served with fruit or picante sauce.
