Ants can be nuisance at home. And, just like any creepy crawlers, these little bugs can get anywhere. Always a problem if you’ve got kids who love to snack everywhere. All those bits and pieces just attract them critters. So here’s a homemade ant repellent recipe.

Mix the following ingredients in a spray bottle:

• 10 1/2 ounces of water
• 3 ounces of hot sauce (Tabasco works very well)
• 2 1/2 ounces liquid peppermint soap (available at health-food stores)

Just spritz on where ants enter your home.
