This recipe’s for those who are watching calorie intake but would want to enjoy the little joys of good eating. Whipped cream is yummy. But if you’re dieting, you may want to stay way clear of it. But here’s a simple recipe to tide over your cravings - low-cal whipped cream.
What you need:
- 1/2 well-chilled non-fat milk
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp apple juice concentrate
- 1 tbsp superfine sugar
What to do:
- Whip the non-fat milk with a mixer until peaks form.
- Add the vanilla, apple juice concentrate and sugar and whip a few more seconds.
- This makes about 1 1/2 cups and only has 1/6 of the calores of regular whipped cream.
