Meditation may sound like it came from a Kung Fu movie or maybe it would come off as too monastic for you. However, meditation is a great relaxation technique that would help you unwind and drive stress out of your mind. You don’t also have to do yoga contortions to simply meditate. You can even do it on your office chair. Here’s how:
- Sit with a relaxed posture. Keep your back straight, feet touching the ground.
- Keep your head, neck, and back upright. Relax your shoulders.
- Place your hands anywhere they feel comfortable.
- This one’s important. Focus on your breathing. Feel the air rushing in and out of your lungs.
- After you have gained focus on your breathing, expand this focus throughout your whole body.
