How do you offset a stressful day at work? By ending it with a soothing night! Does your work suck? You won’t really feel this way if you love your job. But the thing is, it ain’t much fun if it leaves you all stressed out, regardless of whether or not the paycheck is a whopper.

True, you have to perform your best and be no less than excellent. But the question is, what happens when you leave your desk? You slouch your way home with thoughts of deadlines ringing in your ear. You just need to unwind.

Listen to classical music. Ever wonder why you yawn when you hear classical music? It’s not because it’s boring. It’s because classical music tends to slow down your thoughts, and calm your nerves. Complement your sedative music with dim lighting and what do you get? Sleep you’ve never had in weeks.

Indulge in a nice bubble bath. You can purchase one of those special soaps sold in novelty stores. These products are usually especially made to be therapeutic and tonic. If you don’t have a tub, a warm shower will do the trick of washing away the worries you brought home with you.

Aromatheraphy candles and scents. Try Vanilla or Lavender scents. Aromatherapy candles soothe your senses by surrounding you with therapeutic scents giving you an atmosphere which is in perfect contrast to the streets that reeks of smoke and pollution.

Combine the last two with a spice bath.
