Kids will be kids. And kids with crayons are little chaos machines that are bound to mess something up. Now this scenario may be common inside the classroom but they might happen at home.
A quick way to do this is to use scouring powder to scrub away those ugly crayon marks. Now the blackboard paint is tough enough not to be damaged by the scouring solution.

1I appreciate your effort to study this “silly” problem. I have a green “blackboard” and the crayon is green as well. I will try your home-made solution as this is an important gift for my 2 year old granddaughter, who likes to color
