While having a discussion with my sister-in-law tonight, the magic words “how to” came up, when describing extra uses for clear nail polish. One of the things that she told me was a way to stop runs in panty hose…so for you ladies out there (and those of you guys that are more “open” than me) here’s how to stop a run in your panty hose.

• Get some clear nail polish (do not use colors or you will color your panty hose)
  
• Dab the nail polish on the ends of the run
• Let it dry

Alternatively, you can spray it with hairspray (the brand Rave has been recommended to me as being the best for this).
