Stress can literally be a killer. Shouldn’t be a problem if you have vacation credits. Many people think that vacation leaves are meant to be accumulated then spent on a two-week long getaway. The problem with vacations, however, is that a long one can work to your disadvantage. It makes your work pile-up and you end up having a ton of backlog. Reporting back can even make you dread the thought of work. The alternative – mini-vacations.

Mini meaning a three-day, two-night getaway. Something like taking a Monday or a Friday off and spend an extended weekend elsewhere. Maybe you can invite some of your friends along and you can all go backpacking for a few days? You’ll have so much fun that the moment you get back, you can’t wait to plan yet another getaway.

Chronicle your trip. Don’t forget to bring your digital camera so you can capture every moment of your escapade. You can also bring a scrapbook with you. You can just glue your photos on it and add captions so you won’t forget why each photo is memorable. Having a photo to pin or post somewhere
