What can I say, just a bit more of “girl thing” tips.

When was the last time you had your friends sleep over in your room? It’s a well-known fact that one of the funnest things about being a girl is having a sleep-over. (But not so much on the sleep, right?) But how do you throw a sleepover that’s sure to make you sleep with a smile?

Choose your friends.

Invite your closest friends and ask them to bring their own jammies. It might not be the sexiest girl wear but a good pair of jammies is next to a goodnight’s sleep.

Plan the whole thing.

Nothing beats spontaneity but it helps to have your activities planned out. Rent the best chick flicks you can find in the video store. Highly recommended, (Repeat Resistant) are Legally Blonde, Clueless, The Wedding Singer and Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen (depends actually on your age, John Tucker Must Die can work too). Then after the marathon you can discuss which LiLo outfit you can wear next weekend or perfect Elle’s bend-and-snap routine.

Pass the Pringles.

Ok, it doesn’t have to be Pringles but don’t EVER forget to load lots of chips and drinks. Don’t overdo the munchies, tho. You can go for a bowl of cut apples and mangoes instead. A smoothie might prove to be better than the soda, too.

Bond, bond, bond. It’s all about the bonding. From bra size to discovering the perfect hairstyle, sleep-overs bring out the most interesting topics. Watch your bed time, tho. You don’t want those eyebags in the morning.

Pass the Pancake. Don’t let your friends say byebye with an empty stomach. The first thing they want to do after waking up is to eat your pancakes so make pancakes for everyone!

Pack-up. Make sure you fold all the sleeping bags nicely so the parents will agree to another sleep-over next weekend.
