Illacrimo WordPress Theme Release

Illacrimo WordPress Theme

Update: And we are back with Illacrimo. Our intrepid designer just wasn’t happy enough with the way things looked, and had to go back and make it perfect.

I didn’t know that it wasn’t already, but then again, that’s why I am not a designer.

We have a great three column theme for you called Illacrimo. Created by Design Disease, and released here on LifeSpy. It is the third free theme that Bloggy Network has released. Illacrimo has a strong color set, that should appeal to many, and works well with the plugins we have included in the download file, or without.

Supporting plugins like:

  • Gravatar
  • FlickrRSS
  • Pagenavi

Make sure you put them in the right place and activate them if you want the full Illacrimo experience.

This theme, like all themes released by Bloggy Network are released under Creative Commons Attribution-Share Alike 3.0 License.

  1. some body can help me please, what mean that:

    what i need to do?

    thanks!!

  2. I like the theme and am currently using it however is there any support available as I am getting a re-curring error both from the blog Admin and from the Comment page when posting

I can be contacted at codenut @ winextra . com …. I do hope that some support of any kind is available ASAP as I could deal with the Admin error but I don’t want to have commenters complaining any longer than is necessary.

  3. Any updates expected soon? I know there is an issue with the functions.php not allowing the comments to appear correctly on the feeds. The widget ready version’s functions.php needs to be modified as well for some users.

  4. I want to thank you for a great looking theme. I have been tinkering with WordPress for a month now and after a few trial and errors have started to get a handle on it. Now with my third try I stumbled across your theme and wow what a theme. Keep up the good work.

  5. Hi guys – love your design here, and I used it for a while, but ran into a problem with it when using the new wordpress 2.3. For some reason, it sends a cookie login error:

ERROR; WordPress requires Cookies but your browser does not support them or they are blocked

Lots of people are having this problem. I couldn’t figure it out until i deleted this design from my server. Once I did this, I got in easily. Here is the support forum thread – check this for updates and (hopefully) fixes.

  6. Your google ranking is low because you have ‘spy’ in your name, thus google automatically renders your site harmful.

  7. […] best blog software out there for php/mysql platforms – WordPress. I’ve decided to go with the Illacrimo Theme for now, but i will be making graphical and structural changes as time goes […]

  8. hi there, I’d like to do a translation to bahasa Indonesia for this theme. Any illumination on what should I do first to start my translation?

    regards!

  9. Fantastic design which I would like to use but, on saving a page or using the RSS feed I get the error;
Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /home/kentru12/public_html/blog/wp-content/themes/illacrimo/functions.php:24) in /home/kentru12/public_html/blog/wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 770

    Can anyone help please.
    Ken.

  10. Have installed this theme on my main blog – amazing theme. I’m a web developer myself and know how much time it takes to make something like this.
But some problems arise in IE7 with WP 2.7.1. I’ll drop a note when I’ll have a solution for that.

  11. Just an FYI, most people have PHP short tags () turned off these days, and it’s turned off by default in PHP5. This doesn’t break the theme, but a lot of features get dropped because of it.

  12. I like this theme and it would work well for my next project but has it been updated at all since 2007? I want to make sure the code is still compliant. I suppose I could run it through a validator?

    Thanks!
