Hehehe. Here’s another one of those news that makes you go “What the heck?”
In an announcement made by Apple, they warned iTunes users not to upgrade to Vista just yet and stick with good old Windows XP citing some compatibility issues that still have to be tried and tested out with the new MS OS.
Apple reports problems with music and video playback of media purchased through iTunes. They’ve put out a repair tool for this issue but some other issues aren’t addressed.
iPod models with the “Enabled Disk Use” option disabled might not be able to update. And here’s a big one, users who choose to use “Safely Remove Hardware” from the system tray to remove the iPod might corrupt the device itself.
Microsoft has now made word to make something up for its “partner” while Apple hasn’t made any announcements yet for updates or patches.
