Shortcuts make life much easier. Being a keyboard ninja, I’m a bid fan of keyboard shortcuts. Here’s a very quick and easy tip to create your own keyboard shortcuts in Mac OS X.
- Access System Preferences -> Keyboard and Mouse -> “Keyboard Shortcuts” tab
- Click the “+” sign at the bottom.
- From the drop-down list, select Finder
- Type the exact name of the menu command that you want.
NOTE: A finder command would be anything under the “File” menu when you have the Finder selected.
- Type in the shortcut you want
- Click the add button.
