So there is this girl on my co-ed soccer team and she is really cute. I have known her for 2-3 weeks now and I really like her. The problem is that I have no idea if she likes me back. She always smiles at me and laughs at my jokes. I have caught her staring at me a couple of times and she quickly looks away. We even have nicknames for each other that we use all the time. I really want to ask her out but I don't want to ask her unless I'm sure that there is a good chance that she will say yes. please give me some advice on what i should do???

P.S. I need some good ways to ask a girl out so if you could please help on that subject too. It would be greatly appreciated.

there is this girl that i know who only has 2 classes with me and iam crazy about her! i want to ask her out but i just met her and its only the 3rd day of school. should i just ask her out or get to know her?- i think i should ask her in the hallway going to lunch or something. should i say "can i sit with you at lunch?" but her freinds will be at her table and it will be wierd to ask her while her freinds are around. should i get to know her first or ask her out and THEN get to know her?? i cant stop thinking about her! now, i feel like asking her out when i go to school. but when iam actually at school and i see her, i am really nervous because of what she'll say. if she DOES say yes, should i take her to the movies or something on the weekend? please give me some advice!!!

Say So i was wondering if you wanted to catch a movie with me sometime, and let her pick the time,if you can't make it,say suggest another day.

First of all "the Finch" I say you give it more time feel it out. I married my High School sweet heart. But it took yrs of flirting and preperation. Now we're actually divorced but still love each other very much!!!

Now for me I have a boyfriend that has given me some reasons in the past not to trust him. I love him and we've been together for a long time but I think he keeps things from me, things he doesn't have to hide cause I'm a very laid back chick and I don't freak out easy. However the other night he had a friend stop by and the guy had a new girlfriend she was out in the truck so he asked us to go out and meet her. We walked out to the truck and when we got to the window she hollars DICKYYYY!!!!!!!! Dicky or Rich is what I call him "my boyfriend" . Any way then his friend says Oh let me introduce you this is the first time you guys are meeting! Now I'm thinking he's covering what just happened. To me when you first meet someone you don't hollar DICKYYYYYY!!!! Before the introduction. Yes Tom, his friend could have told her " I have to stop over my buddy Dicky's house" So then she'd know the name but still why would she hollar it out like that so long and drawn out like she's known him forever! It just doesn't add up. I wanna know you guy's input on this situation. Please don't say just dump him cause if you don't have trust you don't have a relationship. I am a sensitive a psychic of sorts. No I can't just use my psychic powers to figure this out either I'm not a full blown psychic. But that does cause me to question things more cause I get vibes off em & that I can't help it would be like this in every relationship. Thanks so much Take Care & God Bless!!!!

I need help. This might be a little long but bear with me.

Right now this is the summer I'm transitionig from 8th grade to high school. There is this girl I liked since 6th grade. In 7th grade I was put into the same science class as she was. I talked to her sometimes when we were put together as partners. She was also in my gym class and i would talk to her not very often. In the beginning of of 8th grade I was in her science, math, and study skills. Later in the year I transfered into a higher math class and she would talk about how lonely it got because one or two students trasffered out after I was. I was known to be the guy who would eat anything. Our science teacher would give out *samples* of disgusting things and I took them. One time he electrified a big pickle and I asked if I could eat it. He let me have a bite and it was disgusting. I did these things to be funny and it worked. A day after or two I became known as the guy who ate the pickle. She sat behind me in that class. So when she saw my bad grades she would say things like ouch and that's sucks. We talked once in a while and once I was in study skills I talked to her more often because all our class does does is do our homework and socialize. Sometimes I would tease her just for fun. Once summer came my best friend had a birthday party shared with a girl who were family friends with them. They had they're friends over including me and the girl I liked. Once it started to become late my friends started to leave the party so at the end it was me, my best friend, and the friends that the girl invited. We were all in the basement talking. Then someone starts talking about how far have we gotten in a relationship. Me, who's hasn't been on a date sat on the ground sulking. Then they asked me who do I like? With the girl I like sitting beside me I didn't want to make it awkward so I said I didn't know yet. After I said that it looked like the girl who I liked had her head down dissapointingly. I gave her my phone number but she hasn't texted me or called. I am worried that now I'm going to high school I might not see her more recently.

I am wondering does she like me and what should I do?

I've read every message on here, and I can understand every single one of them. Right now i've been friends with this girl for around 3 weeks, she invited me to a party with her and i've even ate dinner with her family. When we watched a movie together she would put her head on my shoulder and on our way back home from the party she even grabbed my hand and put her fingers between my fingers. On top of that, she has told me she really likes me, but how am I to know if it's just a friendly like or the like I want? Soon I intend to pop the question, and i've thought about it a lot... Do I simply ask her out on a date? or do I spice it up a bit?
I realize girls like confidence, and with confidence comes creativity. So i'm thinking i'll ask her out this way: "You're amazing... Do you think there could be more between us than what we have now?" If I ask her this way it would be less awkward if she says no because the question is too broad. But at the same time it's romantic and charming, maybe i'll ask her after we have a joke together and i've made her laugh... I don't know, but I can't stand being in this position! I'd much rather just get it over with. She's smart, funny, different but not too different... and really good looking. We both share the same interests, almost identical actually apart from some music. (She likes more mainstream when i'm ok with it but would rather try other genres.)
Anyways wish me luck... Here are some tips for anyone who needs it I guess:

1. Making her laugh is so important. Once she starts laughing she will almost immediately feel more comfortable with you.

2. Don't show off too much. Girls want to be able to be themselves around you. And to make that happen you need to be who you really are with them. This doesn't mean you can tell her your mom still dresses you, or that you never go out because you're busy playing video games in your basement on your own hehe.

3. Believe me... I know it's hard to start a conversation with a girl you've never really met before. Let alone keep one going. I'm not sure how each and every person does it, but I tend to try and make everything seem less serious, I know that we are both feeling awkward, so i try to make it a little more awkard, but in a funny way. Anyone can make a situation awkward, can't they? For example, if we're both a little silent, i'll say "Nice weather today huh?" Just try and joke around, it will ease things up. If she doesn't laugh or giggle back, it's either she's not interested in me, she thinks i'm lame, or she is not very intelligent. And to be honest, i'm not interested in a girl that thinks i'm lame, or one that isn't intelligent enough to appreciate my humor.

lmao WOW!!!! thats jokes but still some guys find it hard due to past experiences or maybe they are just plain afraid of rejection. personally i just assume that girls want to date and have fun and soak a guy for his wallet which is ok as long as they are open about it. but when you find that cute seemingly nice woman that you want to actually spend your days off with then all i gotta say is go for it!!! show confidence and dont beat around the bush. woman love a man that knows what he wants and goes for the gold. make her feel like she that one in a crowded room. flatter her but dont lay it on too thick girls have an uncanny ability to detect bullshit. just be yourself and if that isnt good enough for her than she wasnt worth the trouble.

@all who have asked why doesn't a girl ask a guy out:

Though some people think it's ok coz hey, it's not the 16th century anymore, we're modernetc, it's more because sometimes in the eyes of others girls who ask guys out = desperate, sluttish, etc.

Generally speaking, most people will still think it normal if a guy asks a girl out, but will find a girl asking a guy out a little more surprising.

Or at least that's how it works around where I live...

Generally speaking, most people will still think it normal if a guy asks a girl out, but will find a girl asking a guy out a little more surprising.

Or at least that’s how it works around where I live…
