Overdoing some fashion and style can make you a lot less fashionable than you think. Three things that we’d like to raise for now – tanning, outfits, and hair color. Overdoing these three can make you look like a fashion victim rather than a fashion icon.
Tan. A lot would still love to look like California beach hunks and babes (Baywatch is ages ago!). But if you’re not a natural tan you depend on the look of faux tan and that could be very tricky. You can try applying a self-tanning product. But you have to make sure you don’t use too much because you’ll look weird. For a more natural tan look, try a tinted body moisturizer. Choose a product which only gives you a tint of brown, making you look like sun-kissed, not burned.
Outfit. If you’re proud and happy about your body, you have to flaunt it, right? Nevertheless, it doesn’t mean you have to show everything. Don’t put on a slinky top and regret accidentally showing more than you want to reveal. If you really want to wear an irresistible yet risky dress, use a double-sided tape to keep your dress where it’s supposed to stay all day. Also avoid being overdressed. No matter what outfit you wear, always think of class. Avoid looking trashy by not revealing too much. Use a revealing top with a well-fitted jeans, or a miniskirt with a decent top. If you look in the mirror and see a hooch, you need to change.
Hair Color. Changing the hair color is so popular these days. A blond wants to be brunette and a brunette wants to be blond – it’s crazy! But if you want to don a new mane, take note that changing your hair color damages your hair, stripping it of natural oils and making it dry and brittle. Color only every six weeks to keep your hair healthy.
