Twins

Motherhood is a very difficult time in a woman’s life. It’s life-changing. Being a mother to a child is no joke. And while it’s tough to mother a child – imagine mothering two children both at the same time. Having twins is like being a mother times two. It’d going to be a real challenge, and a handful but if you know what to do you’ll be fine. Here are two things that will help you get started.

Breastmilk versus infant formula. Despite the ongoing arguments about which is better, traditional belief still holds that nothing is more nutritious for an infant than its mother’s milk. Twins are usually born prematurely so breastfeeding them might prove to be a little more than uncomfortable. At some point when you might have a bit of trouble with your milk supply, remember that there is always an available infant formula — when you really need a supplement.

Playdate. When are two kids better than one? All the troubles of tending for two babies wears off when you see both having fun like on a park in a picnic or just inside their crib. It’d be fun to watch your twins play together, crawl together, giggle together.

Being a parent to twins may sometimes feel like its’ too much to handle, but probably because you’re forgetting that your spouse should also help too. Let your husband change diapers every now and then.
